Company ProfileReptiles Down Under was first registered as a business in 1993, dealing in live reptiles and reptile sculptures.Even in those early days bold advertising drew response from all parts of the world. Media coverage and ease of international travel has increased awareness of Australia’s unique wildlife and created a demand for gifts and souvenirs that promote our heritage. From its humble beginnings Reptiles Down Under grew. The range of products expanded to include soft toys, pewter, bronze, Aboriginal designs and much more, all of which reflect in some way our native flora and fauna. Early in 2004 the business took on a new direction when David married Chris, an ‘English Rose’ who loves the Outback. At the same time new products from Britain extended our theme and REPTILES DOWN UNDER INTERNATIONAL was born. We sell primarily to the wholesale market. Our customer base consists of wildlife parks, zoos, museums, gift shops and tourist outlets. To view our wholesale range at www.reptilesdownunderinternational.com please use the login facilities on that site by entering your business name and ABN We cater for the nature lover. Our ultimate goal is to be a ‘one stop shop’ supplying wildlife & nature merchandise, which can include live reptiles if you live in Australia. Although many of our products are taken home as a reminder of a holiday spent exploring the wonders of Australia, few could be described as purely souvenirs. Everything is carefully chosen to provide a quality gift which people will enjoy displaying in their home. The world we live in has many negative aspects in these uncertain times, but the wonders of creation gives us reason to reflect on how complex, beautiful & fascinating nature is. We sincerely hope you enjoy your journey through our site, which in coming months will display over 1500 products. Where nature meets art. |
